Think of a small, cozy, country-like restaurant located at the end of a shopping center. Think of good food from the hole-in-the-wall vibe with friendly service and the “best kept secret” status that you would love to go to the mountaintops from which to shout of the experience. If you think of that last sentence, you’re atop a mountain that is about as far K & S as water is from a desert. K & S offers a country feel MINUS the charm and anything else that makes me want to step food there again. Our server looked like she was just freshly returned from a smoke break, unkempt and unpleasant. The food was mediocre AT BEST, the coffee was so bad that after my 1st cup I chose to stick to water (and we haven't covered my love and passion for coffee, probably in great depth by this point, you should know I love it),and it was a place that I would not have tried if it were not for this list…and that would have been completely fine with me, my taste buds, and my wallet (my father and I take turns buying breakfast and THANKFULLY it was his turn to waste his money, uh, I mean, buy breakfast). Our server seemed to be better understood by what appeared to be her regular patrons but with a first impression like this, whoever knows how they became regulars.
